There are three main content groups:
The logo with the slogan on the top.
The menu on the left.
Finally, the biggest group on the center and the right.
We estimate that the white space is around eighty per cent of all the GUI. White space gives no additional information. Putting more things in the same page saves clicks to the user.
There could be more images related with travelling, a global searcher in the website, a trip creator if you don't find what you want, a selection of travel guides, a blog with previous experiences, a user zone with login and password in which the user can see the information of his travels.
The user's zone is essential to achieve its goals, because the user needs to save his personal information
and travels he chose before.
A blog with previous good experiences, because it encourages new clients to
use this webpage.
A global searcher, because it provides users to find specificly what they want.
The logo and the slogan and the global search will be a group on the top. The login, password , the general searcher and the guide selector will be included on the left, under the menu. The trip creator and the blog will be in the third group on the center of the page near the travel search engine.
For the group on the left we have used the same color as the background of the name of the page, considering their alignment and contrast. The three new elements have the same layout properties.
For the group on the center, we have three subgroups. At the top-center group, we have grouped the text and added two photos related to travel. At the middle-center we have shifted the " make your choice " box and we have added two more boxes with the same design, typography, etc. At the bottom-center group we have filled the little space by writing a description of the two " hottests destinations"
